About Outwitly: Outwitly Inc. is a UX and service design staffing and training agency based in Ottawa and Winnipeg. The Role: We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team on a fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. The role will start in early December 2024 and will run for 12 months. As the primary visual designer, you will collaborate closely with our Marketing Manager and Coordinator to execute various sales, branding, and content marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media & Branding: Design and manage branding elements and content for social media (primarily Instagram and LinkedIn) that adhere to Outwitly’s visual identity.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate on marketing campaigns by designing e-books, newsletters, corporate reports, proposals, downloadable materials, and blog posts.
  • Visual Asset Development: Create and edit photos, videos, icons, and visuals for the website, client-facing materials, and internal communications.
  • Client Project Visuals: Design personas, journey maps, and other client project artifacts using Outwitly’s established templates.
  • Proposal & Portfolio Design: Assist with creating visually engaging proposals, team resumes, and portfolios that reflect our brand identity.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4+ years in graphic design (primarily digital, print design is an asset), with a preference for candidates with experience in web design and an understanding of UX and service design.
  • Education: Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, New Media, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Canva, and Google Suite. Proficiency in video editing is a strong asset.
  • Social Media Knowledge: Experience designing content for Instagram and LinkedIn with a strong understanding of platform guidelines and design trends.
  • Portfolio: An outstanding portfolio showcasing expertise in visual storytelling, branding, and social media designs.
